Mon, 09/05/2011 - 12:00pm Join me for our last 2011 Flag Parade this Monday Labor Day Sept 5th at 12:00 noon with your fully “Decked Out” sailboats at the “no wake” buoys in front of the marina. Have your VHF radio turned to channel 69 to receive our parade instructions. We will circle the marina 3 to 4 times (by motor or by sail) before heading around the point, then down to the fishing pier and back to the marina. Everyone is invited to join the Jr Regatta hoagie picnic in the marina parking lot after the regatta. We have not scheduled a raft-up picnic instead let’s take down our flag decorations, raise our sails and enjoy an afternoon sail together!
PS….Let me know who you think should win the Labor Day Parade “Best Decorated Sailboat” trophy which will be handed out at our Awards Banquet in November.
