NSC to Host Flying Scot NJYRA Championships
The NJYRA has selected Nockamixon Sail Club to be the Host for their Flying Scot Championship in 2010. The date of the event is Saturday, June 5, which had already been scheduled by the local Flying Scot Fleet as a date for their "Challenge of the Lakes" racing series. This event will attract Flying Scot sailors from around the Region and over 20 boats should participate. This is the first time that Nockamixon has been selected to host any NJYRA event and this honor will highlight the the Club on the national sailing map.
The members of Flying Scot Fleet # 163 at Lake Nockamixon are planning to make this a memorable event for all competitors. Watch for further details as they develop.
The NJYRA is the Regional organizing authority for US Sailing and has jurisdiction over the area that includes Lake Nockamixon. NSC is a supporter and organizational member of both US Sailing and NJYRA.
